Nau'ar
'The Sun Father, The Lost Spark, Burning Vanity'
'Unrelenting Blaze'
Tenth to be created, and tenth in power.
Nau'ur lived on the Mortal plane until he traveled
deep into the Void, where he became one with the Sun.
Narcissistic and Vain, the God of the Sun only looks out for his own.
Sun, Fire, Masculinity, Ambition, Power and Phoenixes.
Neutral Evil
Nau'ar does have his favorites, the Fusiga, the descendants of his Arch Angels the three Phoenixes.
They come before all else, and if they are attacked, Naur'ar is merciless against those who would hurt them.
If it is in Nau'ar's best interest to protect his other followers he will do so.
In the making of the World, there was no light to feed the plants and help the animals.
After Sila Vor created the Stars, Nau'ar was tricked by Jhes'Khasti to throw his power deep into the Void.
His fire became the sun and no longer did he have power, and he could not take it back,
to do so would kill not only everything the other Gods created but his people as well.
This has left Nau'ar bitter and jealous of the other Gods and he cannot reside among them.
Nanqa it is said traversed the Void to bring back three sparks of the sun, burning his hands in doing so.
Reinn Anon with these sparks created Nau'ar's three Arch Angels, his phoenixes.
From those phoenixes, The Sun Father's Fusiga came to be, and living in the northern plains they were safe for a time.
But they were largely butchered by the Minotaurs, and in-order to protect them Nau'ar had to have his powers returned.
Nau'ar in order to do so, had hundreds of Ellearn sacrificed in his name to give him the strength to fly into the Void.
Deep did he travel to where the Sun had been chained to the World of Cor'terrae, and he would merge with it.
In doing so, Nau'ar lost his humanoid form forever.
The peoples of the desert both human and Ellearn pray to him, and most temples in the deserts are his and his alone.
Many wish for his mercy so the Arch Angel of Rain can bring relief to the savannas and the desert.
Naur'ur is known to have held grudges against mortals and Gods for thousands of years.
The Sun Father remembers the butchering of his Fusiga and he still will not forgive.
He has a rivalry with the Divine of the Seas which has turned to hatred.
Clergy and followers of Naur'ar are to kill Al'shae's Clergy and faithful on sight.
Nau'ar's largest man-made temple is in the Capitol of Qriare in the Azeri Theocracy,
where the ancient blood-soaked alter remains are in use by Azeri leaders.
Burning Vanity's clergy are born into his service and initiated by fire.
Bald and with many burns, the Clergy wear orange robes to cover them.
Nau'ar has a major day of veneration during 'The Longest Day'
Cynteya 21st: The Summer Solstice and the First Day of Summer
called Gorfanaur (Of Dry Hopes - The New Year in Camara.)
