Shyr'Vaero
'The Invincible, Lord of War, Father of Battle, Vengence'
'Boneheart'
Tenth spirit, Shyr'Vaero dwells in Alasse Cir (Paradise)
with his brethren in the Alba Turris (The White Towers).
A personification of the passions of War, Battle and Vengeance.
Strength, Freedom, Daring, Glory, Courage, Vigilance.
Chaotic Good
Shyr'Vaero has always been known as a passionate God who enjoys pestering
Meiva Lady of Justice. He is one of the deities who although he lives in
Paradise, he will come to the aid of his faithful with blade in hand. The other deities
see him as reckless and suicidal, but Shyr'Vaero believes that any cause worth fighting for is worth
dying for. A man who wears only a sarong with tribal paint adorning most of his body.
The invincible promotes the honing of the body in exercise and in battle training,
and yelling of his name on the field before battle.
The Father of Battle is primarily worshipped by fighters and barbarians .
His people are the Islay, an oppressed human people who have suffered tremendous loss in their attempts
to free themselves from the Camar'a government. Shyr'Vaero has temples in every town and village in Islay;
although his most sacred area in the world is the Mounds of Spionnadh, where over two thousand Islay
men and women were butchered in the last rebellion for their freedom which was ultimately a failure.
Causes Shyr'Vaero supports must be for freedom, filled with courage, glory and daring.
It has been said that BoneHeart can feel the rage and passion of any who have been wronged
and will give them renewed strength to deliver vengeance. Meiva and Shyr Vaero have a partnership
and it is not unheard of to see the Lady of Justice fighting by the Lord of War's side to defend and protect.
